We support bridge design with consideration for maintenance and cost reduction.

Bridge/Structure

We offer consultancy services to provide optimized solutions for the design of road structures like bridges, retaining walls and box culverts. We also work on various proposals (ex. a cost reduction) by utilizing new technology and construction methods in order to make effective use of existing structures by extending life and function, such as maintenance and repair design of road structures and previously constructed seismic reinforcement against large-scale earthquakes.

Bridge Preliminary Design/Bridge Detailed Design

We offer optimized solutions based on many business results related to the planning and designing of new bridges, such as a new installation accompanying road maintenance and a replacement of aging bridges. In the planning and designing of newly built bridges, in addition to reducing lifecycle cost and ease of maintenance, we also design with awareness of smooth construction. We also make designs of landscapes by creating perspective drawings and comparing them.

Aseismic Reinforcement Design

耐震補強設計

Based on the experiences of The Great Hanshin Earthquake and The Great East Japan Earthquake, the road bridge specification that is the standard for earthquake resistant design relating to road bridges has been greatly revised. We offer optimized solutions that take into consideration of construction and structural certainty and ease of maintenance on the aseismic reinforcement that makes the bridges constructed before the revised standards matching the current standard.

Repair Design

Many of the road bridges in Japan were built during the high economic growth period, and post-construction incurred various deterioration and damages. We offer optimized solutions to reduce life cycle cost and lengthen the life by selecting appropriate construction approaches and materials including new technologies and construction methods utilizing abundant business experiences of pedestrian overpasses or passengers’ overpasses.
